Our next Spooky Cool curiosity is... Severed Heads In 1905 a Dr Beaurieux conducted a short, but rewarding experiment on a severed head. In his notes the doctor reported that immediately following decapitation the head's eyelids and lips moved for a few seconds then the face relaxed and looked dead. Then the doc called out the man's name in a loud voice and the eyes opened and fixed on the doc! According to the doc's notes he was able to do this twice, each time causing the eyelids to open and the eyes themselves to focus!
